While house shopping four months ago, I had a new house wishlist. Built in the last twenty years. An updated kitchen. Two full bathrooms. Only superficial repairs/projects. Well, I got none of those. Tim found a house that to me looked like a brick bomb shelter, had wood paneled walls, and was built in the 1960′s. The price was nearly $50,000 under the other houses we’d been considering, and he promised me that he could make it into my dream house. So here we are, undergoing a major remodel and addition. This blog will track our progress, and let friends and loved ones who can’t help out follow the changes. If you do help out though, there’s free food and beer in it for you.
